A whole house filter system filters all water entering the premises and is generally fitted after the water enters the property.
Due to the volume of water being filtered the filter housing and filter element are of a larger capacity than say an under sink unit.
If the premises are being fed from either a bore or a water tank supply it is recommended that a UV steriliser be installed as well as the filter system.
UV ( ultra violet ) is used to kill viruses within the water.
Bore and Tank water should be tested to ensure the correct filter element is installed.
